Leslie Dunipace

Research Summary
Leslie Dunipace has been a researcher and lab manager in the Stathopoulos lab since 2007. She has a BA from Occidental College, and a MS from San Francisco State University in Molecular Biology and Phylogenetics. She previously worked on Drosophila gustatory receptors in the laboratory of Dr. Hubert Amrein at Duke University, and on protein interactions and muscle development in the laboratory of Dr. Barbara Wold at Caltech. Her current research is focused on the role of chromosome conformation and the integration of cis-regulatory inputs controlling the expression of genes required for early embryonic development. Outside of the lab she enjoys cooking, hiking, and hanging out with her family and two dogs.
